I really am not fond of these guys . . .,
Make sure you don’t use the auto-renew feature. They keep your card information on file so they can try to auto-renew over and over again even though the expiration month and year has passed. The result of this is that my credit card company put a hold on my card just before the weekend. If you can write anti-virus software, I’m pretty sure you can put in a check so that you don’t repeatedly try to bill an expired card. In my opinion, I need anti-virus software. I don’t want to go without a minute longer than I have to. So when the installation program tells me my Web Root spy sweeper and MalWare Bytes software is incompatible and that they need to remove it, I reluctantly agreed to let the software uninstall them. I don’t believe for a minute that their new version had to be incompatible with these programs (old one wasn’t). I’m surprised they stopped there. Why didn’t they write their own browser and tell me that Explorer and Firefox are incompatible and that they need to uninstall them?
In summary, they got a hold placed on my card by auto-renewing on Friday and again today on Monday with an old expiration date, even though a simple if statement in their program would prevent that. They uninstalled software that they claim is incompatible with their new version. I wonder if it really would have taken more effort for them to make this version compatible that it took to get their install program to uninstall the other guys software.

|Trend Micro Titanium,
After trying 4 other antivirus programs,I’m more than satisfied that Trend Micro Titanium works better than the rest on my Samsung netbook. It does its job consistently. The only serious but solvable issue I’ve had is that on one day in the past 30 days the program generated huge log files that created a disk space issue; I deleted C:Program FilesTrend MicroAMSPdump*.dmp and C:Program FilesTrend MicroAMSPdebug(search for TmSysEvt*.log files in the debug folder and all of its subfolders). This solved the problem. Of course, follow my advice at your own risk because each computer system is unique. Overall, though not perfect, it is the best product I’ve found for my netbook.
