I have gotten what is called “personal antivirus” on my toolbar on the bottom right-hand side of my screen(where the clock is) and I do NOT know how to get the effing thing off…. PLEASE help!!!!

Do you have any security software? If not try downloading Avira Antivirus Personal Edition from www.free-av.com
Update the virus defintions and run a scan and see if it will get rid of it for you

Hey, yo I just got the same problem, What I’m doing is going to my anti – virus program, then doing a virus scan, see if that works. If not, find out some free effective security managers.

I found this doing a google search. Saved me from getting pissed off again at these spyware programs!
